Modern camping facilities are offered at two area state parks: Long Pine State Recreation Area which is on the northwest edge of town along with Long Pine Creek, and the Keller State Recreation Area, 11 miles NW of town on US Highway 183. The Pine Glen State Special Use Area, 10 miles north of the drive-in theater, gives the more wilderness-minded hiker, hunter, or fisherman access to the lower reaches of the canyon. RV hook-ups and camping are also available at The Pines (402)760-0825


Long Pine’s resorts showcase the area’s charms. It’s an easy walk to Pine Creek from all of the resorts.

Located directly south of the Long Pine State Rec Area close to Pine Creek. Fully-equipped cabins with kitchenettes bathrooms and showers, housekeeping, and linens provided. Third Street House The 3rd Street House is a fully-furnished, tastefully decorated 3-bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is provided to make this house your home away from home. Paradise HouseThe Paradise House is located at 198 E. 5th st. in Long Pine. It is newly remodeled and offers 4 bedrooms that can sleep up to 12 people. There is also a fully furnished kitchen, a shower with tub, large living room, and dining room. There is a fenced yard with plenty of parking. Games, puzzles, DVDs, and videos are available at the house. Tube and bike rentals are also available. The Paradise House is great for family vacations, tubing trips, hunting and/or fishing trips, family reunions, weddings, and class reunions. Open for the 2014 season May through October.
